It all started in La Rochelle at an engineering school. As part of his final year, Pierre laid the first stone of the Birdyfish story – although his project was just an idea at this stage. Then came an opportunity to test his project in a national competition – Birdyfish took second place. And this was the start of a veritable entrepreneurial adventure.
The America’s Cup, the Vendée Globe… futuristic boats seemingly defying the laws of physics, new sensations out of the common person perspective… the whole idea was there! To share these thrills and sensations with the public.
Why only experienced sailors should be the one to experience these feeling?
That’s BIRDYFISH’s philosophy in a nutshell! To create an affordable foiler that can easily be enjoyed by all!
Thanks to partnerships with local experts, Birdyfish successfully combines technical prowess, short circuits and affordability.
Birdyfish is keen to be part of the current climate debate and isn’t wasting any time : we are already working on a sustainable solution!
While a source of bliss, Birdyfish places user safety at the heart of all its designs.
